Discover the Wonders of Sierra Nevada: Spain’s Enchanting Mountain Range

Sierra Nevada is the southernmost ski resort in Europe and the highest in Spain, located in Andalucia, 170 km from Malaga airport. The ski center has 113 km of trails of varying difficulty, 21 lifts (including 2 gondolas and 14 chairlifts), the highest of which leads to a height of 3,282 m. The Sierra Nevada Ski Center is open from the end of November to the beginning of April. In case of lack of natural snow, artificial snow is produced by 350 snow cannons. The ski village Pradollano, located at the foot of the slopes, is at an altitude of 2100 m, the higher lift leads to an altitude of 3282 m (altitude difference 1182 m). In Pradollano there are sports, souvenir and food shops, sports equipment rentals, cafes, restaurants, bars, nightclubs and the Mirlo Blanco recreation area with an ice rink, various toboggan runs, ski and snowboard tracks for children.

At an altitude of 2645 m, there is a ski lift intermediate station in Borreguiles, where there are eateries, some sports shops, sports equipment rental, lockers and ski schools.
